We are located in the Beausejour Early Years School at 900 James Avenue in Beausejour, MB. The Centre provides care for children aged 12 weeks to 12 years. Beausejour Kids Centre accepts children of all abilities and provides a caring, warm, and nurturing environment. We are open year round, Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. The Centre is composed of three separate classrooms, which meet the needs of specific age groups. We have an infant/toddler, preschool, and Pre-K/school age classroom. BKC strives to maintain quality programming by following the Best Practices Licensing Manual for Early Learning & Child Care Centres. We are also a member of the Manitoba Child Care Association We are committed to providing an ‘open door’ policy where we encourage communication between parents/guardians, teachers in the school, and the Centre. Please feel free to come and discuss any ideas, concerns, or compliments you may have. Beausejour Kids Centre takes great pride in caring for your children and giving them a place where they feel safe, cared for, and have fun.
PHILOSOPHY The Beausejour Kids Centre aims to provide a warm, loving, safe, creative environment that is a balance between home and school. We strive to create an atmosphere that would be conducive to each child’s social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development. The Centre’s program is based on the principle that children learn through play. GOALS OUR GOALS...FOR THE CHILD...
OUR GOALS...FOR THE PARENTS...
OUR GOALS...For the ECE’s and Assistants Every facet of the program hinges on the Early Childhood Educators and Assistants who are selected on the basis of their qualifications and experience with children. It is a regulation, set by the Child Day Care Office, that minimum two thirds of staff be classified from either The University of Manitoba/Winnipeg or Red River Community College with a diploma in Early Childhood Education at an ECE II or III level.
